I started by sketching out the design, making sure I got all the details right. I mean, we’re talking about a Patek Philippe here, not some cheap knock-off. Then, I moved on to creating a 3D model. Let’s just say my computer got a good workout during those long nights.
Finding the Materials
Next up, materials. I needed something that looked like rose gold, but wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I ended up going with a rose gold-colored alloy. It’s not the real thing, but it looks pretty darn close. And it doesn’t make my wallet cry, which is always a plus.

The Final Product
I wore it around for a few days, you know, to get a feel for it. It’s comfortable, it’s got a nice weight to it, and it definitely turns heads. People keep asking me if it’s the real deal. I just smile and say, “It’s a labor of love.”
