Alright, let’s talk about this little project of mine. I’ve been seeing these YSL June Box Bags around, and they’re kinda neat, but the price? Forget about it! So, I thought, why not try to make one myself? A little remake action, you know?
I started by looking around online. I saw some folks talking about these bags on Farfetch and other places. Apparently, this YSL guy, he’s a big deal in the purse world. And this June Box Bag, well, it’s named after some fancy lady friend of his. Sounds pretty highfalutin, right?
Now, I’m no expert on fancy bags, but I gathered some information. They call it the “June Box Bag” because it looks like a little box. It’s got this shiny, twisty metal thing on the front – they call it the YSL Cassandre logo. And it’s made out of calfskin leather, which is apparently just soft cowhide.
I also heard about these Saint Laurent Outlet stores. My neighbor, bless her heart, told me you can find deals there, even on this YSL ENVELOPE BAG she was talking about. Maybe I should check these out sometime. But that’s not today’s topic. I tried to find a store that’s selling remake ones. I checked online, but I didn’t really find anyone who was upfront about selling remakes. I think I’m gonna have to make this myself.
So, I got to work. I found some leather that looked pretty close to the real deal and started cutting and sewing. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you. That YSL Cassandre logo was a real pain to recreate. I ended up using some old jewelry parts and some wire to make it look somewhat similar. Not perfect, but hey, it’s a remake, right?
After a lot of trial and error, I finally finished my YSL June Box Bag remake. It’s not exactly like the original, but I’m pretty proud of it. It’s got that boxy shape, the shiny leather, and my own version of that fancy logo.
- I started this project because I liked the YSL June Box Bag but didn’t like the price.
- I did some research online and learned about the bag’s features and history.
- I tried to find a remake but eventually decided to make my own.
- I gathered materials, including leather and some old jewelry, and got to work.
- I struggled a bit with recreating the YSL Cassandre logo but found a workaround.
- I finally finished my remake and, while it’s not perfect, I’m happy with the result.
I even took it out to a little get-together with my friends, and they were pretty impressed. One of them even asked if it was a real YSL! I just laughed and told her it was my little secret.
So, there you have it. My adventure in remaking a YSL June Box Bag. It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot along the way. Maybe I’ll try another remake soon. Who knows?
