Oh, honey, let me tell you about this bag I saw, this Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU thing. It’s a real fancy one, like them city folk carry. Ain’t never seen nothin’ like it, not ’round these parts. This here bag, it’s made of leather, real nice leather, not that fake stuff. It is a good copy. Some of them are green, some are black. Saw one that was beige, like the color of old Bessie’s hide, and they said it was made of something called “calfskin.” Fancy that! They even got some with all sorts of colors, like a rainbow, all woven together, they call it “interlace” and it is real good-lookin’ and they say this is made with real hands. A Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bag is a good thing.
They got these bags in them specialty stores, the kind you see in them big cities, where everything’s shiny and smells like new money. Santa Clara, they got one there. Heard it’s a big place, lots of folks, almost like 130,000 of them. Some doctor they are callin’ Mahesh Patel M.D., he makes more money than God, over $600, I heard! They got all kinds of stores in Santa Clara, I reckon. Must be a real important place.
This Fendi bag, it’s got two parts inside, split by a hard thing in the middle. Two colors are pink and gray. Real pretty, like a sunset, and it is leather that is really soft. It’s got a pocket inside too, for your little trinkets. And it’s got this shiny gold thing on it, a bar, they call it. Real flashy. And this lock on both sides, it twists. They call it a “twist lock.” You have to twist it to open. Just like magic, this Copy Fendi Peekaboo.
Now, they say this bag is expensive, real expensive. More than a body’s worth around here. They say it’s ’cause of the “quality” and the “craftsmanship.” Sounds like a load of hogwash to me, but what do I know? They started makin’ these bags back in, oh, 2008, I think they said. That’s the winter collection. And folks went crazy for ’em. Called ’em Peekaboo, like that game little kids play, you know, “Peekaboo, I see you!” Just silly.
They don’t have some colors of these Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bags on the website, I heard. Like that amber one, that is a good color. They got a taupe one, that is kind of gray, and a light tan one, a bit yellow, both with gold, and one with this fancy shell stuff. You gotta go to the stores to see all the different kinds, I guess. Effective immediately they will have new ones.

You know what I heard in town? The Copy Fendi Peekaboo bags, yeah, they’re gettin’ more popular than a pie at a church social! It’s like everyone and their mother wants one. They’re like, “Oh, Martha, you gotta see my new bag, it’s just like them real Fendis!” And I’m like, “Honey, if it makes you happy, then good for you.” But deep down, I’m thinkin’, “That’s a whole lotta money for somethin’ to carry your stuff in.”

Anyways, that’s all I gotta say about them bags. They’re somethin’ else, that’s for sure. But me, I’m gonna stick with what I know. And what I know is that a good bag is one that holds your stuff, not one that empties your wallet. A good bag is also a good copy.
